It's the "little things".
I've heard it my whole life.
It's true.
Those little drawings you ran home to show your Mom, the cards you made for your Dad, those handwritten notes to your friends in middle school that took you forever to learn how to fold. How a sandwhich made by your grandmother only has 3 corners. Traditions passed down through the generations. Starting new traditions. All these things impact your life. The little things.
This week I was reminded of the little things. The things that matter.
For the past few weeks, I've had this card on my desk.
Handwritten.
Sent to me by one of my super cute couples.
(I have the best clients!)
Today, I needed it.
To know that someone cared so much to send me a handwritten note was the best pick-me-up.
I keep all of my cards on my desk for just those times.
Some of them are from family, like this one from my Aunt who wrote it while going through her last chemo treatment.
These are the things I love.
The things I cherish.
It's the little things.
Who are you going to send a handwritten note to today?
It may mean more to them than you will ever know.
