The day started at Maison de Tours in St. Martinville where the girls readied for the day. Laughter and smiles were abundant.
We met up with Tommy under the Evangeline Oak for his first look at Heather. I love when couples choose to do a first look (or allow extra time for photos of just the two of them). Despite the rain that came through, Heather and Tommy had their own special moment under the Oak. A time of reflection for the day to come.
The ceremony started just as the sun was setting behind them and created amazing light as a backdrop to their vows. Quite a few tears were shed during the ceremony (and quite a few held back!). Heather even stopped to give her Dad a hug before walking back down the aisle as a married woman. So sweet!
The night continued inside with music and dancing - and of course, CAKE! The cupcakes were pretty amazing too!
The night concluded with a sparkler send off as the happy couple ran off into the night to spend the rest of their lives together!
