At the rehearsal a couple of days before, they wiped each others tears. The wedding day was no exception. Except that Brittny was prepared this time. Tissue was pulled out of her dress in the middle of the ceremony. Joy filled the church in the form of quiet laughter and smiles.
She wore her grandmothers necklace. The very same one her grandmother wore oh so many years before in her own wedding. She also carried her grandmothers handkerchief tucked into her bouquet, which encased her something blue. A blue guitar pick. In loving memory of her grandfather.
One of her bridesmaids also carried an extra bouquet in memory of one of Brittny's dear friends, her daughter's namesake.
The wedding day started at Aveda where the girls got all glammed up. While the rest of the family got ready at home. Then on to the church! I love the trees at Trinity Lutheran Church during Christmas, don't you?
The day was overcast and sprinkled a bit. We were able to catch a few glimpses of sun and snag some outdoor photos.
Many thanks to Cindy Neuschafer for the flowers AND the cake. Can this lovely lady be more talented? I mean, just LOOK at the them!
