Fallene -- Baton Rouge Bridals

It was freezing.

Parades were lining up where we had planned to meet.

A last minute change to the Louisiana State University Campus in Baton Rouge, and we were set!

A gorgeous bride, a beautiful campus, and an amazing dress! Need I say more?

Yes, that's the Christmas Tree that's up in front of the Clock Tower every year at LSU.

The absolutely gorgeous Fallene is a married woman now y'all!!
Stay tuned for some sneak peeks from their wedding -- complete with the best get-away car ever!

Thanks for braving the cold with me and walking the halls of LSU!!
Many thanks also to the ladies who came along as Fallene's support! We had many a laugh :)

Fallene and Trent -- Downtown Baton Rouge Engagements

College.
Time for new beginnings and fresh starts.
They were ready to conquer the world.

Then he saw her.

Ever the jokester, he threw pieces of paper at her in class.

Paper that started a friendship and grew into something more.
The way he makes her smile, GORGEOUS!
She radiates beauty when he's around.

I had the pleasure of spending the day with them for an engagement session.
We spent the afternoon in Downtown Baton Rouge.
Laughing.
Having fun.
I caught glimpses of the jokester.
(don't let her fool you, it goes both ways!)

I wish you both many years of happiness! I look forward to capturing your special day!!

Kristi and Jon -- Melady House Wedding

The way they look at each other will melt your heart.  Perhaps it was their smiles that first met that summer at college.  Their oh so gorgeous smiles!  Laughter abounds and personalities shine when these two get together.  I could almost see the sparks when their eyes met.

The setting of the day was Melady House in Alexandria, Louisiana.  The plantation stylings and details gave the atmosphere an old world feeling of love and elegance.

Kristi, you are GORGEOUS! Just sayin'.

Thank you, for sharing your special day with me.  I wish you many blessings on your marriage.

Brittny and Josh -- Baton Rouge Wedding

I've known Brittny her whole life.  She is gorgeous both inside and out, with the bubbliest of bubbly personalities.  Always the life of the party.  On the other hand, Josh is her polar opposite.  Quiet and laid back.  A man of few words. He compliments her well.  Ever the perfect pair, so cute together. Teary-eyed-teddy-bear-cute.

At the rehearsal a couple of days before, they wiped each others tears.  The wedding day was no exception.  Except that Brittny was prepared this time.  Tissue was pulled out of her dress in the middle of the ceremony.  Joy filled the church in the form of quiet laughter and smiles.

She wore her grandmothers necklace. The very same one her grandmother wore oh so many years before in her own wedding. She also carried her grandmothers handkerchief tucked into her bouquet, which encased her something blue. A blue guitar pick. In loving memory of her grandfather.

One of her bridesmaids also carried an extra bouquet in memory of one of Brittny's dear friends, her daughter's namesake.

The wedding day started at Aveda where the girls got all glammed up. While the rest of the family got ready at home.  Then on to the church!  I love the trees at Trinity Lutheran Church during Christmas, don't you?

The day was overcast and sprinkled a bit.  We were able to catch a few glimpses of sun and snag some outdoor photos.

Many thanks to Cindy Neuschafer for the flowers AND the cake.  Can this lovely lady be more talented?  I mean, just LOOK at the them!

I just got home from an amazing day with the fabulous Brittny Leader, (who is now Mrs. Angelle!) and her beautiful bridesmaids.  These girls were just gorgeous! All. Of. Them.!  They knew when it was time to be prim and proper and take gorgeous photos like a model, but also knew how to have fun and let loose!  The following pictures happened within seconds of each other, and shows their personalites.  Just a little sneak peek of the day to wet your appetite!
