It means different things to different people. Triumphant or sorrowful.
It's all in your outlook.
A year and six months ago, I joined an organization called I Picture Hope. It's an organization of photographers that gift photo sessions to women fighting or surviving breast cancer. Little did I know, this would have more of a personal meaning six months later.
A year ago, at 30 years old, I found a lump in my breast. Six months ago I had a biopsy for it. There were 2 of concern. Your mind always goes to the worst case scenario.
Check those boobies, girls! It's never too early to start.
They were both found to be non-cancerous tumors. I have two titanium clips (one on each lump) to help identify and watch them.
Tuesday was my six month checkup. While I have not seen the specialist again yet, the radiologist said everything is looking great! Yay!!
Our little batman is also six months along! What a difference six months makes! I feel like we just found out (and we didn't know until 11 weeks!).
A couple of weeks ago, Brandon and I did a little photo shoot of us - for our website. Brandon also took some shots of me and my ever growing baby bump. I feel like it gets noticeably bigger every day!
(27 weeks now, but these photos were taken at the 6 month mark)
Of course, the dogs had to get in on the action too!!
Keep your chin up. Six months can make all the difference.
