The most wonderful time of the year /// Jaydon Avalon's First Christmas

We don't make resolutions. Resolutions are made to be broken. We make plans.

The Holiday Season.

November and December hold many holidays.
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, being a few.

Thinking back on past years, there are photos that we hold very dear. Photos that mean oh so much to each of us. Photos that bring you back to that place. Warm up that memory. Bring a smile to your face. Carry on traditions.

Because we love photos so very much, we decided to set up a holiday photobooth at a few of the places we visited. To capture those faces we love so much!

Of course, we're fans of candid 'in the moment' shots, (we have many throughout the years of my sister screaming in delight when she opens gifts), but sometimes you need a shot of 4 generations together (or the great-grandkids with their own individual personalities!).

How cute are my Grandmother's "Mrs. Clause" pj's??!!

We still have to do Jaydon's six month photos! The weather has been yucky, but don't worry, we'll get them done soon!

Do you have any traditions in your family? I'd love to hear them!

Six months - what a difference it can make

Six months. To some it seems like an eternity. To others it flys by.

It means different things to different people. Triumphant or sorrowful.

It's all in your outlook.

A year and six months ago, I joined an organization called I Picture Hope. It's an organization of photographers that gift photo sessions to women fighting or surviving breast cancer. Little did I know, this would have more of a personal meaning six months later.

A year ago, at 30 years old, I found a lump in my breast. Six months ago I had a biopsy for it. There were 2 of concern. Your mind always goes to the worst case scenario.

Check those boobies, girls! It's never too early to start.

They were both found to be non-cancerous tumors. I have two titanium clips (one on each lump) to help identify and watch them.

Tuesday was my six month checkup. While I have not seen the specialist again yet, the radiologist said everything is looking great! Yay!!

Our little batman is also six months along! What a difference six months makes! I feel like we just found out (and we didn't know until 11 weeks!).

A couple of weeks ago, Brandon and I did a little photo shoot of us - for our website. Brandon also took some shots of me and my ever growing baby bump. I feel like it gets noticeably bigger every day!

(27 weeks now, but these photos were taken at the 6 month mark)
Of course, the dogs had to get in on the action too!!

Jasmine and Prince - Wedding Photobooth Fun

Photobooths.
I have strips of photobooth printouts from various moments of my childhood.
There's something about a photobooth that just makes you want to make silly faces :)

The photobooth at Jasmine and Prince's wedding reception was no exception!

Not only did the wedding party have a blast, but the guests got in on the action too!
Such a fun way to get photos of your wedding guests.

We have now added the photobooth as an A La Carte option for our wedding packages!!!
So if you have a wedding coming up, be sure to ask about it.

You can see more of Jasmine and Prince's photobooth photos on their website:
