Southern Bridals in Grand Coteau /// Angelle

Where else would a gorgeous southern bride have her bridal photos taken? Under some pretty epic oak trees, of course!! Grand Coteau has beautiful, moss covered oak trees with lots of history.

This gorgeous bride added to that history! She attended the school right across from the Oak Alley. Following in the footsteps of her Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

This is also the same Oak Alley where her gorgeous groom, JP, proposed! Their engagement photos were also under oaks, but at LSU. Another part of their story that includes tailgating and date nights! I love the stories behind photographs and what makes them even that much more special.

Angelle and JP were wed right across from the very same Oak Alley in Grand Coteau in the Sacred Heart Chapel - That's right - THEY'RE MARRIED!!! Yay!!!

Avery Island Bridals /// Rebecca

Her smile is infectious and lights up the darkest of rooms. I'm pretty sure that's what drew him towards her at first. And since they are married, I can finally share Rebecca's bridal session!!!

We spent the afternoon at the Avery Island Jungle Gardens and I'm pretty sure everyone's cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much! So. Much. FUN!! I love bridals!!

Lauren /// Avery Island Bridals

Now that she's a married woman (woot woot!!), I can share her bridal photos!! We spent an evening walking (and driving) around the Avery Island Jungle Gardens. Everything was gorgeous and green! It provided an amazing background for Lauren's beauty. Her mermaid style gown, overlaid in lace, was stunning! But don't take my word for it, see for yourself...

Jessica /// Bridals at The Manor

From the moment I met Jessica, I knew why Brian loved her. Such an amazing person with a gorgeous smile to match! Spend 5 minutes with her and you'll be smiling from ear to ear, I promise!

We headed over to The Manor in St. Martinville for her bridals. If you haven't been there, you should! It's gorgeous! 

My cheeks were sore from laughing so much the entire session. We all had so much fun and captured some gorgeous shots! It was killing me to keep these images to myself, but Jessica and Brian are MARRIED now!!! So I can share these with you!

Raisa - Avery Island Bridals

Every little girl dreams of being a princess. 

On her wedding day she gets to look like her vision of one.

Raisa was no exception. Wearing a dress inspired by Disney's Princess Tiana from The Princess and The Frog, there was no better fitting place than Avery Island Jungle Gardens for a southern inspired session.

With Spanish Moss hanging from the Oak Trees, and Calla Lilies in her bouquet, it almost seemed like a scene straight from the movie!

Jasmine - Avery Island Bridals

It was hot. A little too hot. The weekend was forecast for rain (no surprise for a Louisiana summer day, I know). The afternoon shower right before our session made for gorgeous light. And horrible humidity. Despite the heat, Jasmine ROCKED her bridals! We had the Avery Island Jungle Gardens all to ourselves. Well, us and the alligators!

Now that she's a married lady, I can share these! And that dress? Wow. I mean, really??!! There just aren't enough words (or exclamation points!!!!). How gorgeous is she??!!

We have fun on our photoshoots... And have THE best brides. Obviously ;)

Jasmine, thank you for braving the heat and still busting out your inner Tyra. I hope you are having a blast on your honeymoon!!!

Kendra -- Bridals at No Problem Raceway

The drag strip.

I did a happy dance on the other end of the phone when Kendra mentioned the track for her bridals!

I think I even jumped up and down a little :)

I'm a little bit if a car buff.

(ok, ok... more than a little!)

And Kendra was a bride after my own heart.

As soon as I met her, I knew instantly why Mike loved her. 

She's amazing, gorgeous, loves cars and dancing, and lights up a room with her smile!

I mean, look at her!!

If you haven't been out to an event at No Problem Raceway, you need to!! 

The roads on the way there are worth it alone!

Not to mention the racetrack itself :)

Ashley -- Melady House Bridals

She kept an eye on the weather.

Louisiana weather is sometimes unpredictable from day-to-day.

Hot, sunny, and humid one day. Cold, wet, and rainy the next.

We spent the afternoon at Melady House in Alexandria, Louisiana. 

The very same location where she would be wed to her amazing husband-to-be.

The house and grounds provided a gorgeous backdrop.

Fortunately, the day was amazing, Ashley was stunning, and I finally get to share these because she's a married woman now!!!
