Karen and Jason -- Wedding Part 2

Their wedding day started with a groomsman football huddle.

And ended with a "Who Dat" chant and 2nd Line.

A day to remember for sure!

After a ceremony at St. John's Cathedral in Lafayette,
(you can see it here)
Everyone headed to Grand Coteau Ballroom for dancing and CAKE!

How gorgeous is this cake?!!

I loved the personal touches throughout the day.
Karen's bracelet with rose petals inside, the groom's cake, the fleur de lis accents, the cake-pull, the customized umbrellas and rags for 2nd Line -- to name a few.

I love cake-pulls! It's always fun seeing who gets the ring!

The groom's cake... WOW!

How gorgeous are these three sisters?! You should have seen them boogie on the dance floor!

May your day always start with a huddle and end with 2nd Line!

Karen and Jason -- Wedding Part 1

"At the end of the day, I'll be married, and that's all that matters."
~Karen. The morning of her wedding day.

She was the most relaxed bride I'd ever seen.
Taking her time, breathing in the day. Enjoying the moments. With her friends. Family.

The girls started their day at the Hilton Lafayette.
The boys, at the home of Jason's parents.

Ever the avid Michigan fans, there were touches of blue and yellow amid the red and gold.
Down to the smallest detail, Karen and Jason put many personal touches throughout the day.

The younger girls watched with curious eyes. Anxiously awaiting their turn for hair and makeup.

For football fans, is there any other way to start a wedding day than with a huddle?! I think not!

After a gorgeous ceremony at The Cathedral of St. John in Lafayette, everyone headed to Grand Coteau Ballroom for the reception.

Karen and Jason, I have enjoyed getting to know you both! I am so thankful to be able to call you friends! Thank you for sharing your special day with me!

I wish you many, many years of joy and happiness.

Karen and Jason - Lafayette Wedding Rehearsal

Surrounded by family and friends, Karen and Jason rehearsed for their wedding day. It was fast approaching! Excitement was in the air as everyone went through the motions at the Cathedral. Preparing for tomorrow.

The Wedding Day.

On to dinner. Laughter was abundant and hugged the room as everyone shared stories about Karen and Jason.

Toasts. Heartfelt and sincere. Full of emotion and love.

Gifts.

When the bride and groom stood up to do their thanks, tears filled the room.
You could feel the love for his family and friends as Jason said heartfelt thanks.

I can't follow that! Was Karen's reply.
Laughter rang out and bounced around the room.

Karen and Jason, I hope you are having a great time on your fabulous honeymoon! There is no doubt that your family and friends love you and are behind you every step of your journey together!

Oh, and these two are so smokin' hot, that they set off the alarm!!
