Romantic Engagements /// Jessica + Nathan

We spent the afternoon in on some gorgeous family property!! The huge old oak trees drenched in moss?? Amazing! Such a perfect background to this super cute couple!!

The rain held off (although the few drizzles made it super humid) and these two were turning up the heat themselves! Can't wait for Jessica and Nathan's wedding in November!!!

Zoo Engagements /// Rebecca + Ryan

Where else would two veterinarians take engagement photos? The zoo of course!! We spent the afternoon with Rebecca and Ryan at the Acadiana Zoo with some gorgeous animals (and a gorgeous couple).

After having to have an ostrich chased away by the amazing Matt, we headed to the giraffes. I have to admit, it was kind of cool being stalked by an ostrich haha! The giraffes, Gabriel and Evangeline, stole the show! They were so sweet! They were married last year. I want to go back just to hang out with them for the day!

Rebecca and Ryan fed the llamas and even went on the gibbon island. The sunset was just peeking through the azaleas and the gibbons were super comfy in their tree tops and chose not to join them.

Candice + Josh - Engagements at Kart Ranch

As soon as I met Candice, I knew we were going to be BFF's. I saw instantly what drew Josh to her (and her to Josh) - they both have a gorgeous smile that draws you in, and a super awesome personality to go with it!

Of course, for a couple who are kids at heart, where else would we do an engagement session?? Kart Ranch created the perfect setting for these two to showcase their playfulness and youthful spirit.

Raisa + Timothy --- Girard Park Engagements

Freshman year of high school. Not normally a time when you think you are going to meet the one that you are going to spend the rest of your life with.

But for Raisa and Timothy, things were different. If you've ever been around them together, you can see it.

They started dating April 20, 2005, and have been together ever since!! When they are wed on April 20, 2013, it will be their 8th dating anniversary. And the start of the rest of their lives!

We spent the afternoon in Lafayette's Girard Park. The sun was shining, the ducks were everywhere, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous (even if it was a little chilly!)

Fallene and Trent -- Downtown Baton Rouge Engagements

College.

Time for new beginnings and fresh starts.

They were ready to conquer the world.

Then he saw her.

Ever the jokester, he threw pieces of paper at her in class.

Paper that started a friendship and grew into something more.

The way he makes her smile, GORGEOUS!

She radiates beauty when he's around.

I had the pleasure of spending the day with them for an engagement session.

We spent the afternoon in Downtown Baton Rouge.

Laughing.

Having fun.

I caught glimpses of the jokester.

(don't let her fool you, it goes both ways!)

Avery Island Engagement Sneak Peek

I spent an afternoon at the Avery Island Jungle Gardens with Karen and Jason this weekend. THE cutest couple ever! I didn't think the mosquitoes would be so bad, considering the cold snaps we'd been having. I'm surprised none of them made off with any camera equipment!

Didn't see any alligators this time either. Maybe they were hiding from the mosquitoes. (or got carried off by them!)

Here's a little sneak peek of the amazingness that is Karen and Jason!! (yeah, I make up words. I'm ok with that.) Can't wait to share more!
